After eleven chapters in Romans describing God's favor to us, in chapter 12 the Apostle Paul writes --"I beseech you therefore, brethren." Not, "I command you, or I demand of you," but rather, "I urge you, I encourage you, I implore you." by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service."
